In celebration of listencorp magazine’s sixth edition and its exploration into Frutiger Aero music, in collaboration with ArpWire TV, we present ‘Into the Vista’.

‘Into the Vista’ is an audio-visual experience that situates the listener inside the bright, digital-real atmosphere of early 2000s computer design. Vibrant tracks pop and slide with a plosive brilliance, bringing unreal digi-scapes into reality.

Gradually the watcher finds themselves falling out of this imagined world, detaching from the pseudo-paradise and into a more realistic depiction of 2000s tech, as a spectator seeing it through a now-outdated vessel. The dreamy vision now bleary, the otherworldly sounds now anchored into reality by a familiar low-fidelity.

Through this, a futile nostalgia emerges. The wishful projection and imagining of virtual realities becomes a more realistic interaction with fantasized technological utopias, through the banality of the real past.

This mix was made to showcase the incredible artists within, to explore the range of music being made inspired by the Frutiger Aero aesthetic movement, and in celebration of the release of listencorp 006.
